The 30% Club is a global campaign founded in the UK in 2010 with the aim of increasing female representation on company boards and other decision-making bodies, as a means to achieve continuous corporate growth. In Japan, 30% Club Japan was started in May 2019.
With the aim of improving the gender balance among our corporate officers, we joined the 30% Club Japan in October 2020.

My message to colleagues—especially those hesitant to take on managerial positions: Keep your identity and enjoy diversity!
The numerical targets for women in managerial positions are just milestones for achieving “a society where everyone with the determination to take on challenges has the opportunity to do so.” We spoke with Ms. Miho Naganuma about ensuring inclusion and diversity so that diverse human resources can play an active role.

NEC Inclusion & Diversity Day 2022
On March 8, 2022, NEC Inclusion & Diversity Day was held as an online event on the theme of inclusion and diversity (I&D), with the aim of supporting and appreciating the role and contribution of female employees, as well as becoming a company where diverse human resources play active roles in creating continuous innovation. In conjunction with the event held on United Nations International Women's Day, we created a movie that introduces the women working at the NEC Group.
