NEC Inclusion & Diversity Day 2023

On March 8, 2023, NEC Inclusion & Diversity Day 2023 was held as an online event on the theme of inclusion and diversity (I&D), with the aim of supporting and appreciating the role and contribution of female employees, as well as becoming a company where diverse human resources play active roles in creating continuous innovation. In conjunction with the event held on United Nations International Women's Day, we created a movie that introduces the women working at the NEC Group.

Numerical Targets

On the basis of the desirability of having more women employees participate in management decision-making and take on leadership positions, we will implement measures based on the following three targets.

"Targets for end of FY2025 (by April 1, 2026)" Ratio of women employees: 30%, Ratio of women in management position: 20%, Ratio of women/non-Japanese corporate officers: 20%(*Scope:NEC Corporation)

30% Club Japan

The 30% Club is a global campaign founded in the UK in 2010 with the aim of increasing female representation on company boards and other decision-making bodies, as a means to achieve continuous corporate growth. In Japan, new window30% Club Japan was started in May 2019.
With the aim of improving the gender balance among our corporate officers, we joined the 30% Club Japan in October 2020.
