We are seeing increasing uncertainty in the global outlook. And with that uncertainty, we recognize that people around the world ask themselves, "what is the right path forward?"

In response to those questions, we have asked ourselves, what does NEC need to do to ensure that it continues to show a path forward to tomorrow? Our conclusion was that we must present a vision for the future of society and take the lead in realizing that vision. Of course, no one company can do this alone. And so we are committed to work with different stakeholders to build consensus and support. Our first step was to create the NEC 2030VISION, setting out our ideas on the kind of society that people will want to live in in 2030. As we work towards the realization of the NEC 2030VISION , we will focus on the business pillars set out in our Mid-term Management Plan 2025, including Digital Government / Digital Finance, Global 5G, and Core DX. We will also build up new healthcare and life sciences business segments and the carbon neutrality-related business segment. These new drivers of our future growth are increasingly important from a sustainability perspective.
As a technology company, NEC focuses its energies on research and development that will create social value in the society of 2030. Our technology focus includes digital twins, AI, 5G and Beyond 5G, all of which will support our business pillars.
